WOMEN’S GYM – TE WHARE WHAKAKAHA
A dedicated space exclusive to female members to workout with privacy and confidence, fitted with a squat rack and lifting platform, benches and all the equipment needed for a full free weights workout.
You can find Te Whare Whakakaha between Cardio Zone 2 and the Group Exercise Room (just before the Activity Room).
WOMEN’S LEARN TO LIFT
2 MARCH – 25 MAY / 6.00 – 7.00PM MONDAYS
(FREE FOR STUDENTS AND MEMBERS)
An intro to gym workshop for wāhine students and members that teaches you how to set up and use equipment, along with correct technique for the squat, deadlift, bench and more!
The relaxed one hour sessions are run by a female Fitness Trainer and come with no expectations. All you need is a gym towel and a ‘give it a go’ attitude!
