Our Strength and Conditioning coach, Cam Olsen (mSC), has been training competitive athletes for over 8 years. Working with both professional and semi-professional athletes Cam has helped them to reach the next level of their athletic potential across a variety of sports.
These include international representatives in football, hockey, martial arts, squash, athletics, and triathlon along with national athletes competing at the highest domestic level, including Super Rugby, National League Football, and National Basketball League.
UniRec’s High Performance program puts you, the athlete, front and centre with comprehensive motivational interviewing and goalsetting. You will be provided access to personally tailored programming, regular testing, wellness monitoring, and group training with likeminded athletes aiming to reach their potential.
In our sessions, Cam helped me work on an important part of my game. We targeted my speed and power, which translated onto the field that season as I hit a top speed of 10.3 m/s.
Later that year as I was approaching preseason, my goal was to put on weight. Cam helped me to achieve this by creating a personalised meal plan, which enabled me to put on 10kg. Cam is extremely knowledgeable, has great people skills and is committed to helping his clients achieve their goals.
