The Benefits of Morning Yoga

It is well known in the ancient yogic traditions that getting up early in the morning to practice yoga is highly beneficial and recommended. It is in the early morning (the so called Brahma Muhurta period) when more pure cosmic energy is flowing in the environment. Moreover, our stomachs are emptied and no digestion issues would interfere with the practice.

After having slept for one night our minds are less agitated and the body rested, everything is quieter and therefore less internal and external distractions are there so our focus would be naturally enhanced. After the yoga practice our energy levels and mental attitude will be elevated and be more prepared to face the demands of the rest of the day.
