So this week, we're bringing you a little snippet of how eating can actually help you lose those stubborn pounds!

Sometimes, it seems like a good idea to skip a meal for that calorie count! But what's really happening inside?

Here’s a tip… while not eating can actually result in dropping weight, starving yourself is not the way to do it. Following a starvation diet is unsustainable and more than likely, will backfire. Yes, extreme restriction can lead to weight loss, but it is also likely to cause cravings and eventual bingeing, which means weight gain. 

Not eating can also cause depression, anxiety, unhealthy organs, infertility, poor bone health, digestion issues, skin issues, hair loss, bad sleep patterns and more!

If you want to lose weight, and keep it off, the best way to do it is by following a sensible eating plan individualised to your goals and needs. This way, you’ll achieve those long term results!
