BRING A BUDDY

Keen to bring a friend for a workout? UniRec members are entitled to 'bring a buddy' for a FREE workout up to twelve times per year (depending on their current membership term). Attendees can enjoy everything we have to offer, free of charge, including our group exercise classes, Endless Pools™ and squash courts!

If you're keen to bring a buddy, simply sign them in at reception when you're ready to train. Easy as that. For more information, see the team at reception. Terms and Conditions apply.

PLACING YOUR MEMBERSHIP ON HOLD

We understand that there are times when you simply can't use your membership. That's why we allow all UniRec members the option of placing their membership on hold. Memberships can be placed on hold for a minimum of 14 days and a maximum of 60 accumulative days within a 12-month period. If you would like to place your membership on hold, simply fill out the form on the CONTACT US page (selecting 'Memberships and Pricing' as your enquiry type) and provide the start and end date you would like your membership on hold and a brief reason why (i.e. travel, medical). Terms and Conditions apply. Management reserve the right to decline 'on hold' requests.

TRANSFERRING YOUR MEMBERSHIP

You may apply to transfer your membership to another person, providing you have more than one month remaining on your membership.

All you need to do is send us a “transfer request” and include your name, membership number, and a brief reason for the request. Alternatively, you can complete a Membership Transfer Request form (available at reception).

  • If your transfer request is accepted there is a $35 transfer fee to process the change of member.
  • Before the transfer can be processed the new member must complete a new membership form, a Links Pay form if relevant, and signed the current membership agreement.
  • The terms of your membership (including any changes made up to that date) will be transferred to the new member. However, if your contract is a reduced rate membership fee (students, staff, Alumni) and the new member is not personally eligible for that reduced rate, they will need to pay the current community rate.
  • It may take up to 14 days to process the transfer to the new member.
  • We will not unreasonably decline any transfer request.
